Imagine the experience of three years of classical theatre training at the Yale School of Drama along with thousands of auditions and hundreds of days on sets of Network and Studio projects packed into three classes. ONGOING FILM & TV
Placement into the appropriate Ongoing Film & TV Acting Classes upon completion
Taught by celebrity acting coach Graham Shiels alongside GSS faculty, the training focuses on the four sources of acting: Physical, Emotional, Instinctual, and Intellectual through hands-on, on camera work using current film and television casting material. Actors develop a strong foundational technique designed to translate into immediate results in both performance and auditioning.
The Lab Curriculum:

A series of three consecutive Wednesday 10am or Saturday 11am classes in Los Angeles.

Introduction to the aesthetics of the studio.

Introduction to techniques taught at the Yale School of Drama as well as other eclectic approaches.

Taught by celebrity acting coach Graham Shiels and Faculty

Exercising the four sources of acting: Physical, Emotional, Instinctual, and Intellectual.

On-camera, working from recently casting scripts.

You will begin to discover a foundational technique that will translate into immediate RESULTS in your acting and auditioning!

After completion of The Lab you will be offered an appropriate place in our Ongoing Film & TV Acting Classes that will push you further in your craft.
