GSS was founded in 2013
Graham Shiels Studios offers professional acting training to work more imaginatively and effectively. Our goal is to get you booking and if you're already booking then for you to experience greater meaning in your work, to increase your ability to affect others emotionally, and to strengthen your faith you're on your true path.
Extensive on-camera professional experience meets Yale School of Drama classical training to get you BOOKING from the callback to a lifelong and meaningful career. Our focus is to help you release your unique gifts as a performer, to learn the lines so that you may forget them and surprise yourself with your own thought, making your acting FUN again! GSS acting students receive training from currently working Hollywood actors with extensive experience in the field. As the late Earle R. Gister, legendary acting teacher of the Yale School of Drama, said: "All an acting teacher can give you is an aesthetic." Study with those who are CURRENTLY working in the acting profession and know its current aesthetic.
